3 – 6-month contract to hire opportunity
Must have experience with InDesign for prototyping and any experience with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) for building web pages is preferred but not required (will train on AEM).  
This resource will be responsible for back-filling the existing UX Designer that is going on maternity leave in January, the intent is to transition into a full-time resource on a growing team. Must be a senior level resource that can hit the ground running and not require a lot of direction/instruction.  Primary responsibilities will be working on external, client-facing products/sites.  Several initiatives are in the works for 2019, so this resource must be open and flexible to adjusting to an ever-changing work environment and changing priorities.  Looking for a talented designer to contribute to the team, you will own your projects from beginning to end and help shape the brand with high-quality user experiences with smart, innovative design.
  • Translate concepts into user flows, wireframes, mockups and prototypes that lead to intuitive user experiences
  • Execute visual design stages from concept to production
  • Conceptualize original ideas that bring simplicity and user friendliness to complex design roadblocks
  • Take a user-centered design approach, rapidly test and iterate your designs, and release polished functionality
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, techniques and technologies
  • Establish and promote brand/product style guidelines, best practices and standards
  • Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders
  • InDesign for prototyping and Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) for building web pages
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, presentation and writing skills
  • Outstanding problem-solving skills, including the ability to meet a business requirement with a technical solution
  • Must be willing to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple roles, and demonstrate high emotional intelligence
  • MUST have solid front-end programming qualities, interests, and background
  • 2+ years of UX experience
  • Bachelor’s degree or comparable work experience
  • Excellent visual design skills with sensitivity to user-system interaction
  • Expert at articulating and presenting conceptual ideas
  • Up-to-date with latest trends, techniques and technologies
