STATEMENT OF PRIMARY DUTIES:

To plan, direct, manage, supervise and oversee the activities and operations of the Information Technology Services Department; to provide levels of service in accordance with business goals and policies; to participate in high level organizational decision making as a member of the executive management team; and to assist and advise multiple business units technology related issues.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Participate in strategic and operational processes of the business organization as a member of the senior management team
  • Lead IT strategic and operational planning to achieve business goals by fostering innovation, prioritizing IT initiatives, and coordinating the evaluation, deployment, and management of current and future IT systems across the organization.
  • Establish IT departmental goals, objectives, and operating procedures; ensuring IT system operation adheres to applicable laws and regulations.
  • Act as an advocate for the organization’s IT vision via regular written and in-person communications with the organization’s executives, department heads, and end users.
  • Develop, track, and control the information technology annual operating budget.
  • Promote and oversee strategic relationships between internal IT resources and external entities (vendors, partner organizations etc).
  • Supervise recruitment, development, retention, and organization of all IT staff in accordance with corporate budgetary objectives and personnel policies.
REQUIREMENTS:
  • Minimum 7 years of Sr. Management experience in Information Technology Management.
  • 4 year degree required.  Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent from an accredited college or university with major course work in Computer Science, Business Administration, Public Administration or a related field. Advanced degree is desirable and can be a broad-based education and not tech specific.
  • Experience with enterprise complexity as a Senior Executive (revenue, employees, international, domestic, national, regional, local, number of locations). Would prefer experience with a minimum of 3 concurrent business lines and 500 user-base supported.
  • Required broad experience with functions, budget, team size, partners, locations, etc.), and managing a team of 20 or more with at least 3 direct reports as managers of front-line associates.
