Salary:  $65,000 - $85,000


Summary:

Looking for a Transportation Management System professional to be the "go-to" expert in the use of company TMS system (Transportation Management System (TSM) "super user":
  • Responsible for the configuration of TMS system to support Logistics Management Service (LMS) and online transportation platform business:  ownership for the configuration methodology for implementation of new clients, configuration of planning parameters with operations teams; understanding of data, process flows and process automation and participate in the TMS provider User Group
  • Co-ordination of TMS Help Desk / Support:  manage submission and prioritization of issues to the TMS help desk and support resolution of operational issues / act as advocate between business and technology provider
  • Service Development:  work with business owners to develop specifications for ongoing enhancements to the platform business service line and direct our TMS provider and other resources to deliver.
  • Carrier API Management:  manage / Prioritize the work TMS performs in integrating API’s with carriers:  coordinate  with Carrier Management team to resolve integration issues and coordinate with CRM team to automate API management by carriers
  • Quality Assurance:  perform basic acceptance testing of upgrades to TMS and communicate with operations any significant changes
  • Metrics  / Datamart support:  work with business owners to define dashboard / reporting requirements and manage TMS and other resources to deliver appropriate reports / dashboards
Requirements:
  • 3+ years of experience with Transportation Management Systems, preferably with experience of implementation of the system either at a shipper or implementing new clients at a 3PL
  • Bachelor’s Degree  - preferably with Information Systems, Data Analytics or Supply Chain  focus
  • Experience with development of business requirements and working with IT / vendors to deliver requirements
  • Excellent communication skills, consensus building
  • Occasional travel required
