Full Stack Engineer (100% Remote)

Salary: $115K - $135K with equity
Summary:
Seeking a dedicated Full Stack Developer to join a growing company. We are looking for the first founding engineer to be a thought leader and exceptional operator to co-drive execution of the company product direction. Must be able to build & ship product. In this role, you will lead the build of their first minimum viable product (MVP). And we can’t emphasize this enough, must thrive as a self-starter who is passionate about building something. In summary, looking for someone that has built products, worked in a production environment, and developed frontend and backend web-based products.
Our client is a pre-seed elder care startup focused on helping families navigate the complexities of caring for our aging parents, this includes building out an AI and data platform to help families predict and prepare for aging loved one’s cost and care trajectory.
Technical environment: React, Angular JS, Python, Typescript, Redux, etc.

Requirements:
- Experience with React, Angular JS, Python, Typescript, Redux, etc.
- In-depth knowledge in secure coding practices and the ability to help other engineers to adopt them
- Strong foundation in SDK/API design, distributed system design, and backend implementation
- Experience in unit and integration testing
- Have hands-on experience in the public cloud environment leveraging best security practices
- Experience leveraging data architectures and components to scale application backends
- At least 3+ years of experience working as a backend and/or infrastructure engineer in a fast-paced complex environment
- Familiarity with common programming design patterns and best practices
