Salary:  Base salary plus commissions


SUMMARY

This is a greenfield opportunity for a VP of Sales to expand this company’s presence in the St Louis market.  Experience selling IT hardware or software is beneficial.   

Our client is an industry leader in Enterprise IT Asset Disposition/Disposal (ITAD), data destruction, value recovery, and e-Waste recycling services. They help clients securely recover value, comply with regulations, and achieve corporate sustainability initiatives, all while protecting companies from the risks and complexities presented by decommissioned and off-network IT assets.

Compensation:  highly competitive base + commission, comprehensive healthcare, 401k company match, and PTO and sick time. 

Vice President of Sales is responsible for client adoption and growth within the St. Louis metropolitan area. Need an experienced salesperson who has a consultative sales approach that can put revenue strategy into action. Ultimately responsible for your own success within the territory, ensuring incremental growth in revenue and gross margin, new logo acquisition and client retention, while providing the best sales experience possible to clients.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Develop and nurture relationships with clients with the St Louis area.
  • Exceed sales and gross profit targets by driving new opportunities and expanding services provided to existing clients.
  • Generate short-term results while maintaining a long-term perspective to improve overall revenue generation.
  • Work with CRO and CRMs to prioritize opportunities, apply appropriate resources, and ensure high satisfaction from your clients.
  • Demonstrate/sell value to key stakeholders within potential clients during complex sales cycles.
  • Thoroughly research target clients and develop strategic approaches to increase client base.
  • Track all opportunity and client details including potential services offered, service timeframes, next steps, and forecasting in Salesforce.
REQUIREMENTS
  • Experience selling to VP and C-level executives
  • Selling IT hardware or software experience
  • Track record of success selling into mid-market and enterprise companies
  • Consistently deliver on 6+ figure deals
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
  • Willingness to travel as needed (conferences/conventions/corporate needs)
