Salary: 110-150K – Plus equity stock options/incentives.

We are looking for a Business Operation champion who can keep the trains on their tracks while moving as fast as possible. Our client is rapidly scaling, and need to maintain their rate of growth with the help of someone that wants to wear multiple hats, be a highly visible player in business operations, human resources, finance, analytics and technology.  Someone who improves processes and bridges gaps between these departments.  You will identify problems across every division and component of the company, and clear anything that bottlenecks operations.  You will do whatever it takes to help them run as efficiently and effectively as possible working from a strategic and tactical mindset on operational projects.
Responsibilities
    • Refine strategic priorities with our executive team. Convert priorities into annual and quarterly goals, keep each team aligned towards their goals, and proactively monitor & drive each goal’s progress.
    • Design, implement, and maintain processes to ensure our CEO’s and company’s priorities are managed, tracked, and achieved.  
    • Identify and fix any and all operational problems.
    • Identify and recommend areas for continuous improvement by creating weekly progress reports for every department in the company.
    • Define, delegate, and deliver on tasks and projects created by our CEO — across the entire organization. Own and execute special projects
    • Work hand-in-hand with our CEO to manage investor relationships, prepare updates, create material for board meetings, and strengthen our network of current and potential investors.
    • Own employee hiring, end-to-end. Monitor hiring progress, manage recruiters, reach out to candidates on behalf of our CEO, onboard new employees, and establish processes to set them up for success.
    • Manage and improve company culture among existing and new employees. Break silos.
    • Make an impact, get things done, and deliver all communications with excellent verbal, written, and storytelling skills. 
Our Ideal Candidate: Basic Requirements
    • Let’s be clear — there’s no blueprint for the right person for this role. By its very nature we are looking for someone who doesn’t fit the mold, who can wear a wide range of hats, and who brings a rare combination of skills, attributes, and experiences to the table. That being said, we suspect the following are needed to do this job properly.
    • Outlier in IQ, EQ, and problem-solving skills
    • 98th percentile energy, 2nd percentile ego.
    • Impeccable written English skills, including in technical English
    • Strategic thinking and a mastery of tactical details
    • Willingness to challenge, change, coach, and be coached
    • Experience at a strategic consulting firm and a startup environment is a plus
    • Great project management skills — we need someone who is highly organized, process-driven, and detail-oriented
    • An entrepreneurial, action-oriented, and independent spirit
    • Someone who is hungry to learn and willing to make mistakes :)
