Chief Financial Officer

Looking for an onsite Chief Financial Officer with a strategic mindset to assist in a growing company.  This long standing company in the food manufacturing industry is a great opportunity for a finance leader to make a big impact for this company in the market place. 


  • Oversee company's financial operations, including internal and external financial reporting and stewardship of company's assets

  • The position will report directly to the President

  • Secretary for the Board of Directors

  • Responsible for all financial reporting for the company to include monthly closings and financial statement preparation and detailed analysis of results.

  • An independent audit firm audits the company annually.  Will coordinate and participate in this audit.

  • Responsible for oversight of the accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.

  • The position is also responsible for the credit and collection function beginning with analysis of risk, the establishment of credit limits for customers, and the supervision of collections.

  • Will also be expected to maintain the corporate banking relationship including debt covenant analysis and compliance.

  • Responsible for obtaining and analyzing lending sources for capital expenditures and/or expansion projects.

  • Responsible for obtaining and analyzing quotes and negotiating coverage and premiums for all the lines of insurance necessary to transfer the appropriate amount of risk from the company.

  • Responsible for supervision of the payroll function and will review and approve quarterly and annual payroll reports.

  • Coordinate with independent consultants for the preparation of the corporate income tax and some franchise tax fillings.  Preparation of all other required tax filings will be the responsibility of the CFO.

  • Annual forecasts of sales, expenses, and profitability for various segments of the corporation will be required.

  • Oversight and analysis of the corporations defined benefit plan and Section 401(k) plan including the associated expenses, funding requirements and reporting.
